I was born in New Jersey, but I grew up in Upstate New York. So, I consider myself from Upstate. My mother is a pastor, and my father is a high school teacher. They both still live in New York. I went to public school, graduated in 2014, then went on to college in West Michigan, Holland to be exact. Hope College is where I learned about academic religion, and began my journey in writing theologically. I graduated with a BA in Christian History & Theology in 2018, and immediately started seminary at Western Theological Seminary, still in Holland. That is where I met my love, Marcy.

Marcy and I began dating, did four long years of even longer distance, but made it through better on the other side. We got married in 2021, and welcomed our firstborn, Sam, in 2024.
But, before that, I graduated seminary with my Masters of Divinity in 2021, was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Reformed Church in America, and took a call to be the associate pastor at a church back in New Jersey. Amazing how this great state finds a way to call its children back home.
So, that is where you find me. Still married, still a father, and still pastoring. My work requires me to write theologically quite often. And, every once in a while I believe I write something worthy of sharing. That being said, I am always open to suggestions.
